Kolton's Eagle Project

Posted on Jul 17 2021 - 8:41am

Hello Everyone

This is Kolton Meadows with an update on the progress of my project plan. I know that it has been a long time, but at long last, everything in preparation is squared away and ready to go for the assembly of my Eagle Scout project. The location, time, and date that I have set for coming and assembling will be in the church parking lot at 9:30am on the weekend of the 24th through the 25th of July. The goal will be to complete the construction of one(1) large bookshelf to act as an exchange library.

Resuming In-Person Meetings

Posted on Feb 21 2021 - 3:55pm

We are resuming in-person meetings at the church starting tomorrow!  Everyone present at the meeting (all scouts and family members), must wear a mask, social distance, etc., so we are not spreading any germs.  We will continue to meet in-person as long as we can do it safely.  Please help us keep our entire troop healthy!

Virtual Troop Meetings!

Posted on Dec 5 2020 - 1:28pm
With the current COVID situation in our community, the troop committee has decided to suspend in-person troop meetings for the time being.  This is not a decision we made lightly.  Many factors went into it.  We currently have several families with members in quarantine, which means scouts are not able to attend, and not having enough adults present to meet could be an issue.  The numbers in our county are on the rise, and we expect them to rise more before they fall again.  It is also too dark to meet outside at our normal time.

Starting next Monday, we will meet virtually again.  Here is the information to join the meetings:

Meeting ID: 918 8532 9968
Passcode: 318

We will also be planning outdoor events on weekends to keep scouts engaged.  We plan to have our first the weekend of 20 Dec, assuming the weather and COVID numbers cooperate.  We feel much more comfortable being outdoors than being in the church basement.

This also means the Court of Honor that we were planning for Mon 7 Dec is postponed.  We plan to reschedule it for the spring when we can meet outdoors.

Yours in Scouting,
William Turner

Support the Troop while shopping at a Kroger-owned store.  It's super easy to do!  Register your Kroger Plus Card in the Community Rewards program and every time you swipe your card at Kroger, Ruler or Jay C stores, the Troop will earn a percentage of the sale.  Encourage your friends and family to sign up because every time they swipe, we earn!  Click on "Read More" for sign-up instructions.

Dear BSA-TROOP 318(XX318),

The Kroger Co. Family of Stores is committed to bringing hope and help to the local neighborhoods we call home. Our stores are on a mission to go beyond being a part of the community to also helping create a stronger community. We appreciate your participation in our Community Rewards program to help accomplish that mission!

We have recently upgraded our Community Rewards system, and as a result, your Non-Profit Organization (NPO) has a new account number. (XX318)  Please reference the new number when contacting us for assistance.  We recommend communicating this new number to your members, and updating any marketing materials with this change. While the previous number will continue to be associated with your organization, it will not be visible to your members when enrolling.  New members can enroll by searching for either the new number or the name of your organization.

If you have any questions, please email CECOMMUNITYREWARDS@KROGER.com or visit our website at http://www.kroger.com .
